The ShotShield Impact Cushion is a supplemental foam padding accessory designed for use only with NFHS- and NCAA-approved wrestling headgear. It provides targeted cushioning to limited areas of the head (forehead and crown).Important Safety Disclaimer (Repeated for Emphasis):

• The ShotShield Impact Cushion is NOT designed, intended, or proven to prevent, mitigate, or reduce the risk of concussions, traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), or any head, brain, neck, or other injuries.

• No headgear or accessory can eliminate the risk of concussion or serious injury in wrestling.

• Concussions can occur from brain motion within the skull, even with additional padding.

• Impacts often occur outside padded areas; no padding protects unpadded regions.

• Wrestling involves inherent risks of injury. Always use proper technique, strengthen your neck, follow all rules and regulations (including NFHS/NCAA), and seek immediate medical attention for any suspected head impact. Referees have final discretion on equipment.
